We visited Ocean Beach Periodontics for review of my husband's existing implants, cleaning and possible upper bridge replacement. This is a welcoming practice, nice staff and comfortable office. I appreciated the detailed treatment plan estimate we received and will continue future treatment with OB Periodontics!

I enjoy coming to this office although it’s a long drive. It’s very mellow and the staff is very kind and friendly.. I really enjoy working with Dr. Smith and Sara the dental hygienist. Everyone on the team is great. I didn’t peel any pain and I left with a smile.

I just started as a patient yesterday. Nevertheless, my initial experience was terrific: First, I was seen on-time, the office support staff previously handled all my paperwork with me, and at the end of the appointment provided me with detailed documentation of the doctor's recommendations; Second, the dental tech prepared me to see the doctor without any delay and, most of all, third, Dr. Megan Smith did an especially excellent job in her examination, explained her recommended courses of action in detail, and seemed totally "on-top" of the issue as she answered my questions. My follow-up appointment to actually begin work is set for next month, and I look forward to it!

As much as we all dislike dental visits, I found my visit pleasurable. Jeanina and Dr. Smith were super warm and welcoming and professional. Dr. Smith explained my issues and treatment plan thoroughly so that I could make an informed decision moving forward. Shannon in the front office was also great and helpful! So appreciate the kindness and professionalism!

I was dreading having a deep cleaning and Sarah was absolutely fantastic! It's the next day and I'm not sore in the least. It's almost as though I had a regular cleaning! Cannot recommend them any higher. If needing any of this kind of treatment, this is the place to go!

This is by far-the best perio dentist office I have been to. 10 STARS to Dr. Megan. She will make you feel safe, cared for, and supported in every aspect that involves perio dentistry. She is by far my favorite!!🩷💜🩷

Absolutely amazing office. I was hesitant to move forward and had two consultations with other periodontists but did not follow through. After my dentist referred me to Dr. Graham and Dr. Smith, everything changed. They explained the procedure clearly and made me feel completely at ease. Three weeks later after I was cleared and I just had the quickest cleaning ever and my gums are healthy again. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable space and tremendously friendly staff. Definitely did not feel like I was walking into a normal dentist office/waiting room. They had a very homey feel and Shannon at the front desk was so kind and accommodating. I had many questions on my procedure and insurance coverage (as is was a new policy). Shannon was extremely knowledgable and answered all of my questions, really reassuring me! Then when it was time for my service Dr. Smith made me again feel very comfortable and took great care of me! Very gentle and asking questions as she went to make sure I was comfortable and happy! Many times I find that Dr.'s can be super tough on my gums and I'm too shy to ask them to go more gentle. Definitely not the case with Dr. Smith, plus she has fun light banter. I felt like I was just hanging out! Can't wait to go back.
